What this check does and does not tell you
It matches names, not meaning. It counts the tools, licenses and certifications the posting names that your resume names too, word for word. Skills your experience only implies are not counted. The full match counts them and gives you a score.
Readiness is separate. Headings, contact details, dates, work history and length get their own score. It is never added to the count.
It is computed, not guessed. No language model is involved, so the same resume and posting give the same result.
Scanner, parser test or compatibility check

Can ChatGPT check the ATS score of my resume?
ChatGPT can give feedback on wording, but it does not read your file the way an applicant tracking system does, and it can answer differently each time you ask. This check reads the file as text and gives the same result every time for the same resume and posting.

What is a red flag on a resume?

Is a 2 page resume ok for ATS?
Yes. An applicant tracking system reads every page, and this check only flags a resume longer than two pages. Length matters to the person reading it: one page early in your career, two once you have the experience to fill them.
What happens to your resume
Nothing is kept. An uploaded file is read in memory and never written to disk, and we store neither the extracted text nor your IP address. There is no account to create, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
